The
purpose of this redesigned site is to
provide one-stop access to information
about my health care initiatives,
projects and legislation. I will also
be posting information about upcoming
Health Care Financing Committee hearings and
events, my health care related press
statements and speeches as well as
links to other health care
information.
I am
proud to have served as a leading advocate
for improved health care in our state.
We have made a
lot of progress in the last six years, but so
much more remains to be done. Now as
the chairman of the newly formed
Committee on Health Care Financing I know
that by working together, we can make
our state's health care system even
better. This site is intended to be
part of that effort.
In the
coming months, I will use this space
to share some of my thoughts and
opinions on what is needed to achieve
my goal of providing safe affordable
health care for every citizen of
Massachusetts. Additionally, I
encourage you to contact
me with any comments you may have
regarding the information and
